Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently of German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and an Indian father and a Russian mother. In her early teens, she created a choreography which earned her a spot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden who transforms into a playful Indian dancer. After graduating of New York's top high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree from St. John's University. In New York, she studied acting in the HB studio. Then, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up numerous tasks. Her parents were a Hindu as well as an Indian father, Ghanshan K Mahendru and who was a Russian mother, Olga. The family moved together with their father to New York's East Meadow York when she was thirteen and a half years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress best known for her portrayal of the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She is known for her frequent appearances on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
